Castries, September 24, 2025 – Saint Lucia accredited five (5) Ambassadors, during the third installment of the Presentation of Credentials Ceremony for 2025, with Sir Cyril Errol Melchiades Charles, Governor General of Saint Lucia, held at Government House, Morne Fortune, Castries.
The revised credentialing process, now held on a triannual basis – January, May, and September, provides the opportunity for Saint Lucia to accredit several Ambassadors and/or High Commissioners, during one (1) sitting. In so doing, the incoming dignitaries can embark promptly on the mandates set out by their respective governments, during their tenure in office.
The following Non-resident and Resident Ambassadors were accredited:
- H.E. Mr. John Petter Opadahl, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Saint Lucia
- H.E. Mrs. Cristina Perez Gutierrez, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain to Saint Lucia
- H.E. Mrs. Marie-Noelle Duris, Ambassador of the Republic of France to Saint Lucia
- H.E. Mrs. Claudia Guiliana Betalleluz Otiura, Ambassador of the Republic of Peru to Saint Lucia
- H.E. Ms. Catarina de Mendoza y Arruda Olivera Rodrigues, Ambassador of the Republic of Portugal to Saint Lucia
