Ms. Nancy Nicholas, Senior Foreign Servce Officer and Head of Political and Economic Department addresses a gathering of High Level government officials and diplomats from various countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Taiwan.
The speech was given on behalf of the 167th Class of the National Development Course, and Ms. Nicholas expressed gratitude to Taiwan for providing the opportunity to participate in the course. Ms. Nicholas emphasized the importance of international cooperation, diplomacy, and solidarity, especially in the face of challenges like the Covid-19 pandemic, war, and climate change. Nicholas praised Taiwan’s principled and effective diplomacy, which has helped many countries.
